SMC Global Power comenz\u00f3 a implementar sistemas de almacenamiento de energ\u00eda en bater\u00edas el a\u00f1o pasado, cuando la compa\u00f1\u00eda revel\u00f3 que varios proyectos de almacenamiento de energ\u00eda en bater\u00edas en Filipinas estaban a punto de completarse. La compa\u00f1\u00eda tambi\u00e9n anunci\u00f3 que desplegar\u00e1 31 sistemas de almacenamiento de energ\u00eda en bater\u00edas para finales de 2022, no solo para brindar servicios de confiabilidad energ\u00e9tica y control de frecuencia, sino tambi\u00e9n para integrar 3 GW de energ\u00eda renovable intermitente.<\/p>\n
Ramon See Ang, presidente de SMC, dijo en ese momento que la compa\u00f1\u00eda implementar\u00e1 proyectos de almacenamiento de energ\u00eda solar en 10 ubicaciones en Filipinas, y que est\u00e1 previsto que estos proyectos comiencen a operar en 2022.<\/p>\n

Fluence, integrador de sistemas de almacenamiento de energ\u00eda y empresa conjunta entre Siemens y AES, anunci\u00f3 el a\u00f1o pasado la puesta en servicio de dos sistemas de almacenamiento de energ\u00eda en bater\u00edas de 20 MW\/20 MWh en la combinaci\u00f3n de almacenamiento de energ\u00eda de 470 MW\/470 MWh que firm\u00f3 con SMC Global Power para el suministro y mantenimiento del proyecto. La capacidad instalada de estos proyectos de almacenamiento de energ\u00eda en bater\u00edas implementados por la compa\u00f1\u00eda oscila entre 20 MW y 60 MW. La cartera de almacenamiento de energ\u00eda adquirida e implementada por Fluence para SMC Global Power se desplegar\u00e1 en 13 emplazamientos.<\/p>\n
W\u00e4rtsil\u00e4 anunci\u00f3 en mayo de 2021 la puesta en marcha de dos proyectos de almacenamiento de energ\u00eda en bater\u00edas para SMC Global Power. Estos proyectos, de 20 MW y 40 MW, respectivamente, forman parte del contrato de implementaci\u00f3n de un sistema de almacenamiento de energ\u00eda de 100 MW anunciado por W\u00e4rtsil\u00e4.<\/p>\n
